Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Jos South Local Government Area have declared their support for Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos to contest the Plateau North Senatorial seat in the 2027 general elections.

The endorsement came during a well-attended gathering of party loyalists, including youths, women, and elders from all districts within Jos South. Speaking on behalf of the group, Hon. Emmanuel Solomon Dung (popularly known as Gibok), alongside other political stakeholders, commended Bagos for his impactful representation of the Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.

According to the group, Bagos stood out as a responsive and results-driven lawmaker, with visible projects and advocacy efforts that transformed the constituency. They described their endorsement as a collective decision aimed at securing quality representation for Plateau North at the national level.

In addition to backing Bagos, the PDP faithful reaffirmed their loyalty to Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang and pledged to mobilize support for his re-election in 2027. They applauded the governor’s developmental strides and visionary leadership across the state.

Responding to the call, Hon. Bagos expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and officially accepted the invitation to run for Senate.

“I am humbled by your trust and confidence. I accept your call to serve and will continue to work for the betterment of our people,” he said.

He also encouraged constituents to remain united and committed to Governor Mutfwang’s administration, emphasizing the importance of continuity in governance.

“The Governor has shown genuine commitment to transforming Plateau. Let us give him our full support for a second term to consolidate on the gains so far,” Bagos added.
