The Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has extended his heartfelt condolences to former Commissioner for Information in Ogun State, distinguished editor, and lawyer, Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu, over the passing of his beloved wife, Aishat Odubayo Olaniyonu.
In a condolence message signed by Gyang Bere, Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, on Tuesday, October 16, 2025, Governor Mutfwang described the late Aishat, who passed away at the age of 52, as a hardworking and purpose-driven woman who stood as a pillar of strength and support to her husband and children.
He noted that her demise has created a painful vacuum in the family and among all who knew her, while praying that God Almighty would grant Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu and the entire family comfort, fortitude, and peace to bear the irreparable loss.
On behalf of his family, the government, and the good people of Plateau State, Governor Mutfwang extended his deep sympathies to all who mourn the late Aishat Odubayo Olaniyonu and prayed for the peaceful repose of her soul.
