Former Member of the House of Representatives for Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, is set to convene the Northern Zone Youth Summit aimed at inspiring and equipping the next generation of leaders across Plateau State.
The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, August 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM, at the Sarau Event Center in Jos. With the theme, “Equipping the Next Generation, Transforming Tomorrow,” the summit will bring together youths from across the Northern Zone of Plateau State for a day of dialogue, mentorship, and strategic engagement.
According to the organizers, the summit will focus on the theme:
“Plateau Northern Zone: Our Precious Heartbeat — Together We Equip, Unite, Build and Defend.”
Discussions will address pressing issues affecting young people in the region while exploring pathways to unity, innovation, and sustainable development.
The event is powered by Next Generation Legends and the Bagos Loyalty Network, with Hon. Bagos taking the lead as a committed advocate for youth empowerment and participatory leadership.
“We believe that the future of Plateau—and indeed Nigeria—rests in the hands of the youth. This summit is designed to equip young minds with the tools, inspiration, and networks they need to transform their communities,” said a representative of the organizing team.
The Northern Zone Youth Summit is expected to feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, breakout sessions, and interactive workshops with thought leaders, civic advocates, and experienced professionals.
The event underscores Bagos’ ongoing commitment to youth inclusion, community development, and visionary leadership.
