With deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss, the Plateau State Government announces the funeral arrangements for the former Deputy Governor, Professor Sonni Gwanle Tyoden, who passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2025.

Following the funeral service, the remains of Professor Tyoden will be laid to rest at his residence in Pushit, Mangu Local Government Area, Plateau State.
As we mourn this great loss, we draw comfort from the words of Scripture:
“He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces.” – Isaiah 25:8
