Governor Caleb Mutfwang expressed satisfaction with the efficiency of the election process, assuring voters that their votes would count. After casting his vote, Mutfwang described the process as “smooth and much faster” than previous elections using BVAS machines.
He commended the large voter turnout, highlighting that the simultaneous accreditation and voting were proceeding without issues. The governor also pointed out that the peaceful nature of the exercise required minimal involvement from security personnel, further underscoring the transparency of the process.
Mutfwang emphasized the importance of continually improving electoral systems, stating, “The smoothness of this election shows the need to remain adaptable with technology. When accreditation is seamless, and voters trust the process, our electoral integrity strengthens.”
