Remo Stars plan Plateau United upset in Jos

Remo Stars head coach, Daniel Ogunmodede is confident his side can pull an away win against Plateau United in the Nigeria Premier Football League this weekend.

The Sky Blues will travel to Jos to take on the Peace Boys in a matchday 17 encounter at the New Jos Stadium.

The two teams are in contention for a Super Six spot.

Remo Stars occupy the third position while Plateau United are in the fifth position with just two points separating them.

Ogunmodede said his team is working hard to secure a place in the season-ending Super Six competition.

“We are not ready to relax now, we going to Jos to cause upset there,” Ogunmodede stated.

“We did it against Enyimba and I am very sure with the extra shift we are putting in, in training we can do it.

“The players understand what is required of them as we work tirelessly to maintain our push for the Super 6 playoff.”

Kun Khalifat FC technical adviser, Obinna Uzoho has rated midfielder Uchechukwu Onuoha as one of the best in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL.

Onuoha was outstanding in Kun Khalifat FC 3-0 defeat of Warri Wolves last Sunday.

The midfielder netted brace in the game to bring his tally in the NPFL to four in nine appearances.

Uzoho is adamant that the player have a lot to offer with his quality.

“Onuoha is one of the best the NPFL can offer, I use to encourage him alot as he has a lot of quality to offer in the game.”Uzoho was quote from a chat with Puyaka.
