In a dazzling display of visionary leadership and institutional transformation, the Nigerian Institute of Building (NIOB) Plateau State Chapter has etched its name in the annals of national professional history—fulfilling promises, breaking barriers, and setting a gold standard for chapters nationwide.
Two years after pledging bold reforms at his inauguration, Chairman Bldr Adedeji Adeleye Paul, FNIOB, delivered on every front at the landmark 9th Builders’ Conference and Annual General Meeting (Tincity 2025), held at Villa Grande Hotel, Jos. The event wasn’t just another gathering—it was a showcase of legacy, innovation, and a new dawn for the built environment profession in Northern Nigeria.
A major milestone unveiled was the chapter’s first-ever official website—www.niboplateau.org.ng—a dynamic digital gateway offering seamless membership registration, real-time professional updates, and global visibility. “This is more than a website,” Adeleye declared. “It’s the realization of a dream to modernize NIOB Plateau and connect our members to the future.”
Not stopping there, his administration also launched the first printed edition of the chapter’s official by-laws, cementing a foundation for transparent governance and institutional integrity. And in a move rarely seen in professional bodies—especially nearing the end of an executive tenure—the chapter held a ground-breaking ceremony for its very first state secretariat, a physical testament to enduring vision.
The historic achievements drew high-profile national recognition. Bldr Kolade Daniel Abimbola, FNIOB, the 22nd President of the Nigerian Institute of Building, commended the Plateau State Chapter for “raising the bar of excellence and redefining what a professional chapter should aspire to become.”
