The Labour Party Gubernatorial candidate in Plateau State, Amb. Yohana Margif has addressed what they described as Scrupulous elements propagating a false INEC governorship list. The address was made by Amb. Margif media team in a statement made available to newsmen on Tuesday 4th October 2022, urging the general public to disregard the said publication.

The statement reads:

The attention of the general public is hereby drawn to yet another falsehood and forgery perpetuated by some individuals claiming to be acting as INEC officials with the fake uploaded name of an unknown person as the gubernatorial candidate of the Labour Party in Plateau State.

The main aim of the mischief-makers is to portray themselves as authentic Candidate of the party illegally and to drag the reputation of the independent national electoral commission into the mud by portraying the commission as above the law or disobedient to court processes and probably not willing to comply with court judgements.

The original portal of INEC has Amb Yohana Yilpwan Margif as the authentic Gubernatorial candidate for Plateau State Labour Party while these individuals have been attempting to force INEC to act negatively, the electoral empires have responded to them point blank that the commission is neutral on issues like this and holding on to its neutrality since the matter is before the court of law.

These individuals who struggled to force themselves through the back door and window by ensuring somebody’s name surfaced as the Labour Party candidate in Plateau State also has a target to score cheap political points and relevance across Plateau State.

Our teaming fans, supporters and Party faithful are advised to remain calm, unshakable and steadfast in prayers, God who brought us this far will never abandon us.

We wait for the judgement by Her Lordship Justice igishi on 15th, December 2022.

We urge the general public to disregard the said publication
