The candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) for Bassa /Jos North House of Representatives, Ibrahim Baba Hassan has donated the sum of N1 million each to Amo and Jere communities in separate 2023 festivals of Arts and culture.
Hassan, who is representing Jos North North Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly, commended the two communities for showcasing their rich cultural heritage which has kept them as a strong, united and indivisible entity.
The lawmaker described culture as the identity of the people and urged the two communities to continue to work hard and preserve their culture from going extinct.
He explained that the Jere and Amo people are known for their peaceful disposition, good cultural heritage, hospitable, accommodating and kind-hearted citizens
