The All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Plateau State, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, has said the party is fully prepared ahead of the flag-off of campaigns for the presidential, governorship, Senate, House of Representatives, and the State Assembly campaigns in the state that will start in about a fortnight.
The gubernatorial candidate promised that the campaigns will be issue-based; while expressing confidence that the party will come out victorious in the elections.
Dr. Nentawe in a chat with reporters in Jos said, “We would embrace the upcoming campaigns and elections with utmost responsibility, patriotism, and care for our state and country.”
“I call on the people of the state to continue to support our party at all times.” he admonished.
Nentawe further stated that if elected governor of the State, his administration would focus on revamping the economy of the state.
“I want to be a Governor of Plateau State, not a Governor of my tribe.
“If given the mandate, we will run a free, fair, and all-inclusive government, where Plateau youths will be engaged and empowered to become economically self-reliant,” he said.
