The Chairman of Kanke Local Government Area in Plateau State. Hon. Henry Gotip who was kidnapped from his home at Kwang in the early hours of Wednesday 7th September 2022, has regained freedom from his abductors unhurt.
A member of the family, who asked to be anonymous, confirmed this to newsmen in Jos. The relation said: “we give God the glory he has been released from the hands of his abductors.”
The head of media and protocol to the executive chairman, Gopep Wudira, in a press statement, also confirmed that the Chairman has since reunited with his family, and appreciates all those who stood by the family and Kanke local Government council. saying, ”indeed your prayers and moral support are profoundly acknowledged”.
