GIZ boosts capacity of young entrepreneurs in Plateau State

In order to make young Nigerians employers of labor secure economic prosperity, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) has boosted the capacity of some young entrepreneurs who recently completed their secondary school education in Plateau State.

The organization also inaugurated the Technical Advisory Group (TAG), which is made up of experienced individuals from the public and private sectors, to provide mentorship and advisory services to help the young ones to grow their businesses.

The young people who, while in schools were members of the GIZ-sponsored Student Entrepreneurship Activity Hub (SEA-Hub), an initiative of the Pro-Poor Growth and Promotion of Employment – SEDIN, have now graduated into the SEA-Hub Alumni Network (SHAN), to ensure continuity of the impactful entrepreneurial learning and mentorship in business.

Recall that SEDIN is part of the Sustainable Economic Development Cluster (SEDEC) of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
