According to newsmen, the three-time African champions arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja aboard a chartered military plane.
The 63-man contingent which comprises players, coaches, backroom staff, and supporters is lodged at the Sheraton Hotel and Towers, Abuja.
Sunday’s encounter will be held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
The overall winners of the fixture over two legs will compete in the money-spinning group stage of the competition.
Plateau United will be playing in the CAF Champions League for the third time.
The Jos club has never made it to the group of Africa’s biggest club competition.
