Sarasuka Gang Kills Two In Jos North, Plateau State

Two people have been confirmed dead by the Plateau State Police Command after an attack by the notorious gang group called Sarasuka boys.

The incident happened behind Yan Doya Market in Jos North Council of the state capital on Tuesday 1st November.

One of the victims was said to be going home when a group of thugs attacked him with sharp knives and killed him.

The assailants reportedly ran away immediately, but the people of the community gathered and pursued them, caught one of them, and killed him instantly.

It was gathered that the police came and took the corpse away, while relatives of the victim also took his remains away for burial.

However, the public relations officer of the command, Alfred Alabo, while confirming the incident to our correspondent attributed the killing to the activities of the notorious gang group known as Sarasuka boys.

2027: ‘I’ll deliver Osun for Tinubu’ – Adeleke insists

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has reiterated support for president Bola Tinubu in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.

Speaking during a meeting with the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC Ajibola Basiru, on Sunday, Adeleke assured that he will deliver Osun State votes to Tinubu.

The governor insisted that he does not make empty promises and that politics must be guided by integrity.

He said his commitment to the President was genuine, stressing that he meant his promise to deliver the state’s votes 100 per cent.

“I don’t make empty promises. When I said we will deliver Osun State votes to our dear father, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, I meant it 100 per cent.

“Politics must be with integrity. We are all from Osun State. Let’s forget our differences and work for the President,” he said.

According to the governor, his position was influenced by the values instilled in him by his father, whom he described as a diplomat and labour union politician.

2027: APC National Secretary meets Adeleke [VIDEO]

The National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, met with Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke on Sunday.

Basiru said the meeting centred on efforts to deliver Osun State for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.

According to him, Governor Adeleke had promised to work towards achieving that goal.

He added that the visit was also to congratulate the governor on his victory at the polls and thank him for attending the burial of his late mother.
