PNEP Urges Senate to Approve Tinubu’s Ministerial Nominee, Dr. Bernard Doro

The Plateau North Equity Project (PNEP) has expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro as a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, describing the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of competence and integrity.

In a press statement issued on Monday, October 27, 2025, and signed by the Chairman, Hon. Samuel Parah, and Secretary, Hon. Victor Samson, the group said Doro’s appointment reflects the President’s commitment to inclusivity and national development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“The appointment of Bernard Mohammed Doro is appropriate, in view of his capacity and integrity, which will contribute immensely to the attainment of the Renewed Hope Agenda for Nigeria,” the statement read.

PNEP also commended key leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State, including the National Chairman of the party, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe; the leader of the APC in Plateau, Senator Simon Bako Lalong; members of the National Assembly from the state; and other stakeholders for their unity of purpose, which they said made the nomination possible.

The group further appealed to the Nigerian Senate to give President Tinubu’s nominee favourable consideration during the ministerial screening process.

Reaffirming its support for the Tinubu administration, PNEP assured of its continued commitment to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
