The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the formation of a Normalization Committee to oversee the operations of the Plateau State Football Association.
This move follows a deadlock in the election process for the association’s board and is based on the findings of a fact-finding mission dispatched by the NFF to the state.
Hon. Yakubu Audu Buba has been appointed as the chairman of the committee, while Mr. Daniel Kumi assumes the position of vice chairman.
Other members of the committee include Professor Ishaya Pam, Barr. Dan Gwarzo, and Mallam Abdullahi Abubakar Maigero. The role of secretary will be filled by Mr. Daniel Langs.
The Normalization Committee will take charge of the affairs of the Plateau State FA for now, draw a roadmap for conduct of elections into its board, ensure that all eligible stakeholders are provided a level-playing field to participate in the process and superintend the elections
