Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation Holds Medical Outreach, Sanitation Exercise at Riyom IDP Camp

The Dachung Musa Bagos Foundation has brought vital healthcare services and environmental sensitization to the Riyom Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) Camp through a combined medical outreach and sanitation exercise.

The initiative, led by the Foundation’s Executive Director, Mrs. Lydia Dachung M. Bagos, and Program Manager, Mr. Dali Alpha, was supported by a committed team of committee members, staff, and volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure its success.

A team of doctors, nurses, and other health professionals provided free medical consultations, treatments, and health education to residents. The sanitation exercise, aimed at improving environmental hygiene within the camp, was conducted in partnership with the Plateau State Environmental and Sanitation Agency, whose Director General and staff actively participated.

The Foundation extended special appreciation to the Da Gwom Rwei of Riyom, Da Samuel Jok (Dara), for his warm reception and support, as well as to the Red Cross for their ongoing humanitarian efforts. Commendations also went to the Plateau State Drugs and Medical Commodities Management Agency for supplying essential medical materials.

Chairman of the Foundation, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, reaffirmed his commitment to humanitarian service, noting the organization’s long-standing dedication since its inception in 2011. “We have kept moving forward, and we will continue to believe and trust in God, because in God we trust,” he said.

The Foundation pledged to sustain similar interventions aimed at improving the health and well-being of vulnerable communities across Plateau State.
