The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Avia Musa Agah of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency seat in Plateau State in the recently conducted National Assembly polls.
Agah won the election having scored 87, 609 votes to beat Gwani Alkali of the PRP who scored 67, 331 votes while the candidate of the Labour Party, Daniel Asama Akoh scored 41, 950 votes.
Hassan Ibrahim Baba, the candidate of APC scored 19,103 votes.
The results were declared by the Returning Officer of the Constituency, Prof Josiah Mutihir, in Jos, the State capital on Tuesday.
