In line with his commitment to a responsive and people-centered administration, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has made significant appointments to key positions within his government. These appointments aim to enhance efficiency and strengthen the delivery of services to the people of Plateau State.
The following appointments have been approved by Governor Mutfwang:
- Engineer Jeremiah Satmark – Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor: Engineer Satmark, a distinguished graduate of Building from the University of Jos, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. He previously served as the PDP Vice Chairman for Plateau Central zone and has held several political offices, including Chief of Staff to a former Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly. With expertise in construction work and a successful background in renovation, landscaping, land management, and water resource management, Engineer Satmark is well-equipped to contribute to the development of Plateau State.
- Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba – Special Adviser on Legislative Duties: A graduate of Law from the University of Jos, Rt. Hon. Ayuba is a seasoned legislator and accomplished businessman. He previously served as the Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly during the 9th Assembly. His extensive experience in legislative affairs and business acumen make him a valuable addition to the government’s team.
- Engineer Alex Gyang Dalyop Kundang – Deputy Chief of Staff to the Deputy Governor: Engineer Kundang, a graduate of Geology and Mining from the University of Jos, is currently pursuing his M.Sc. in Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology. He has held various professional and political positions, including serving as the Secretary to Riyom Local Government Council. Engineer Kundang is a member of esteemed organizations such as the Council of Nigeria Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG), Nigeria Mining & Geosciences Society (NMGS), and National Association of Hydrogeologists (NAH). His diverse background and business acumen have further strengthened his ability to contribute to the development of Plateau State.
Governor Mutfwang emphasized that these appointments take effect immediately, reflecting his administration’s commitment to swift and effective governance. These individuals, with their exceptional qualifications and diverse experiences, are expected to play vital roles in advancing the state’s development agenda and serving the people of Plateau State.
Gyang Bere, the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Executive Governor of Plateau State, announced these appointments on June 12, 2023.
