The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the postponement of its congresses to elect State Executive Committees in Plateau and Cross River States.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, made this known in a statement issued on Wednesday in Abuja.
Ologunagba explained that the congresses, earlier scheduled for September 27, will now hold on a new date to be announced later.
He urged party leaders, stakeholders, members, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, and the media to take note of the development and act accordingly.
