Man trekking for Plateau Governor-Elect Mutfwang, arrives destination amidst celebration

A Man identified as Mr. Gwaknan Belief Binnim who embarked on a 130km trek to celebrate Plateau Governor-Elect Mutfwang has arrived his destination.

Mr. Gwaknan started off from Sabon Gida Langtang South LGA in the early hours of Tuesday 21st of March 2023, and arrived at the family compound of Barr Caleb Mutfwang on Thursday 24th March 2023 after a 3-day walk. READ HERE

He said he was overjoyed by Barr. Caleb Mutfwang’s election that he decided to walk on foot from Langtang South to celebrate the victory at the family residence of the Plateau State Plateau Governor-Elect in Ampang west, Mangu LGA.

After being received amidst celebration at the family compound, Mr Gwaknan went on to deliver his message calling on the Governor Elect Caleb Mutfwang to rescue Plateau State.

“Plateau has gotten to a point where it is like a rope has been put on the state and it’s been pulled to a very bad place”

“I want to beg Caleb Mutfwang to join hands with the citizens and build the state, he should act like the messiah we have been waiting for and rescue the state”. Mr Gwaknan stated while speaking in Hausa language.

The candidate of the PDP, Barr Caleb Mutfwang polled a total of 525,299 votes and was declared Governor Elect by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC defeating his closest rival of the APC, Dr Nentawe who scored 481,370 votes at the March 18th polls.
