Plateau United General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla, remains optimistic that the team will escape relegation despite their struggles in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) this season.
United currently occupy 16th position in the table with 24 points from 22 matches.
The Jos club recently signed four new players to bolster their team.
Mutla believed the new arrivals will boost the team’s performance.
“Yes, we’ve strengthened the squad with some fresh legs during the January transfer window,” he said.
“And it’s our hope that the new arrivals will bring the much-needed spark to the team.”
